Florianópolis is one of the places of Brazil that more times I have visited and continues being one of which I like more.
One is an island that belongs to the state of Santa Catarina, in the south of Brazil. It was founded on 1726 and it is the State Capital.
The island has only 51 km in length and 17 km in its wider part and offers a very interesting variety of beaches and activities.
The island has own airport and due to the dimensions of the same one in few minutes it is arrived at any beach.
One of the things that I more like of Floripa is that in a single place are very different beaches, impressive landscapes and nighttime activities. Absolutely for all the pleasures.
For that reason my first recommendation is to go in car or to rent one there, that multiplies the possibilities and unless you are very sedentary without doubts it is a good idea.
Personally I believe that the beach where to stay itself it is not very important, because soon with the car any other in only minutes can be crossed. I never did it, but I have known people who normally lodge in center soon to go in car to the beach chosen for the day.
More down I describe the characteristics of each beach, personally I believe that it is a good plan to cross different a every day, are all different and beautiful.

Near the island, of the side of the continent there are many places very good to know, more down I detail some.
Without doubts the things to do are so many that can and so many the places to know that several trips are needed to be able to see it everything and come the desire there to return:)
Gastronomy
Florianópolis meant for me the discovery of the Brazilian gastronomy and for that reason my impression continues being very positive.
Delicious chickens can be eaten, are smaller of those than they eat in Argentina, but its flavor is much more intense.
But without a doubt the fort is the excellent fish and seafood. The “sequência of camarão” is one of typical plates absolutely imperdible. The “sequence” deals with a plate rollover where the shrimp is the protagonist, being able to taste it of diverse ways.
Camarão à grega is another one of the plates that I requested time and time again and I continue liking much.
Also I ate bobô of camarão, although he is very heavy to eat it in the beach, is an appropriate plate but for the night.
Another one of the delicious things that can be tasted is mejillones, is very fresh and flavorful.
Places to visit in the island:
The center
In center many commerce, hotels and restaurants can be found. It is where there is greater nighttime activities.
The island is tie to the continent by means of 2 bridges, one of them (oldest) is hanging and represents a typical postcard of the place. This bridge is closed to the transit, but alongside carrilles for the cars is newer other with several.
In center of Florianópolis there is a peatonal where one concentrates the commerce most of, at the end of the same one there is a seat with a giant fig tree and ancient and in front of the seat it is the infaltable church.
Jurerê and Jurerê the International
For my taste, one of best beaches of the island. One is a beach without waves, with often lukewarm water since it is not exposed to the Atlantic Ocean in direct form. The negative is that the beach is very narrow, is a very small sand strip and if there is people fill quickly.

Santinho

This beach is a little isolated, but it is contiguous.
At the end of the beach there is a nose with a footpath with a very pretty Vista.

Moçambique
It is a desert beach, without infrastructure and with waves very hard for that reason some they are going to do surf.

It is a beach that always I liked much, specially by the great amount of bars and restaurants that are in the beach.
Also surf practices here, but the waves are much smaller, abounds plus bodyboard.
On the bar the boats of the fishermen of the place can be seen.
Galheta
To this beach it is acceded from praia Soft after walking a footpath that does not present/display greater complications.
It is the only naturista official beach of the island, where the nudismo is optional and it is not controlled by anybody.
Also it is possible to be arrived from Bar gives Lagoa, but in that case the footpath is much more complicated.

Mass
As its name indicates in this the beach the sand is very soft, this is the beach of the adolescents (some a little mask by the way).
There is bars, much music and surfers by all sides.

Joaquina
It is the preferred beach of the surfistas, the waves are good there and a world-wide championship of surf is even made.

The North part of the beach has infrastructure and going towards the south it is put more desert.
Logwood

Lagoa gives Conceição
She is one of the two lagoons of the island.
I am never going to forget the first time that I crossed the island from the center towards bar gives lagoa. Bombas and Bombinhas
One is two beaches located to single 60 km of Florianópolis of the side of the continent.
They are really very pleasant. In spite of being a classic place where diving practices (mainly by clean it of its waters, which it allows great visibility), the times that I was does not practice it and really I regret that.
They are a little annoying the omnibus that arrive loaded until the limit with people, but depends on the time of the year and of where one is located it can tolerate.
Praia do Pinho
This is the first official beach of naturismo in all Brazil. One is near the Bath of Camboriú and is divided in two sections, one for single and another one for pairs.

Too much usually she is frequented and what is worse, many people only approach to watch the people who vá or is in the beach, constituting a true show for them.
Fundamentally for this reason and because sometimes the essence of the naturista philosophy is not respected, every time less is frequented by the true naturistas.
Camboriú
I was once and I was only hours nothing else. What I saw did not like, but is certain that it was just a short time and perhaps it did not reach to know the best places.
The transit was an absolute chaos and the beach did not seem to me very pretty, is too urban for my pleasure.
Towards the South of Florianópolis
Pedras High
Pedras High is a located naturista beach in Palhoça, in the middle of the biological reserve of the Serra do Tabuleiro. It is a public beach, but the entrance of dressed people is not allowed.
One is a place difficult, the way is of earth and very is deteriorated.
The place has two beaches, one for families and pairs, and the other for single. The water is very calm.
The beach is very familiar, respects the naturista philosophy totally, is small and very calm. It is a very pleasant place.
Guard of Embaú
One is a small city that is outside the circuit of tourist cities. She is very calm and it can be a good option to make base and to cross the cities of the environs there.
It does not have much gastronomical supply, but one eats very well and the beach is pleasant.
Garopaba
To the south of Guard of Embaú is Garopaba, I only spent one night in this place, but my memory is very good. After having supper, I crossed the costanera that counts on very good illumination and banks to seat to enjoy the Vista.
Also in quick visits, I crossed Ferrugem and Pink Praia do, both very pleasant places.
The best: The great variety of beaches. The gastronomy, the plates that eat there are unforgettable.
The infrastructure and urban hygiene are worthy to emphasize, is evident that the governors of the place know like taking care of the tourist.
The security is another point to emphasize, always I walked very calm by the street.
People are of the best thing and are a place where authentically they made me feel like in my house.
Traveler's nightmare: Perhaps it is difficult to find something bad of Florianópolis, the worse thing is than by its geographic location the water of beaches is not as warm as in other beaches of the north of Brazil.
