Multitude neon-hippie (Automatic translation, under review)
I went to Trindade while it lodged to me in Paraty, both cities are closely together. The last time that had visited this city was in 2001, when I was in Angra two Kings.
At that time my impression had been very positive, but evidently it underwent a very important change in the last years, not of infrastructure, but of volume of people who the visit.
That is to say, I was with the same city, but with a multitude of impressive people. Total and absolutely overflowed the city, its streets, their commerce, absolutely everything. To this not at all pleasant panorama it is necessary to add the profile to him of the visitor, a mixture of old along with adolescent setentosos hippies drogones. That yes, to both retards to the clock 40 years to them.
It is entered to Trindade from rodovia River-Saint, 18 km to the south of Paraty. The access road is asphalted, but very close, winding, with pronounced slopes and habitual transit of trucks. He is very dangerous, reason why it is necessary to go by far care, are posters that they indicate that there is a high index of accidents there.
After walking minutes the way is divided in 2, towards the left it goes away to beaches of Laranjeiras and Sono and towards the right goes away to the villa of Trindade. This second section is much worse than first since asphalt is deteriorated and the slopes much more are pronounced.
Trindade presents/displays in addition to several gorgeous beaches, several footpaths (trilhas in Portuguese) to cross. These are of earth or sand and are put in the middle of a dense vegetation.
January is badly a month to visit Trindade since it is time of rains and although it does not rain permanently, the rain of some days back makes difficult to cross the footpaths since much mud forms.

Where to go:
Praia do sono
One of the joyitas of trindade. It is arrived doubling at the left after bifurcation from the way of entrance to Trindade. After walking minutes by a quite winding way we arrived soon at Laranjeiras and at an unexpected parking.
From it is necessary there to walk by a footpath during 1 hour until arriving at the beach. The way is not very hard because to the being permanently journeyed, they have placed some elements that facilitate their route. Nevertheless, it is necessary to have resistance, since one is one hour of ascents and slopes in the middle of dense vegetation, walking on sand, earth or mud and with high temperatures.
By all means which the route of the footpath is very pretty, my recommendation is to do it with calm since it is not difficult, but is necessary to do it.
At the end of the footpath we were with praia do Sono, a really paradisíaco place, the water is of a total transparency and a turquesa color.
In spite of the precarious way that there is to make to arrive (I talk about the footpath), he himself is journeyed permanently with people going and coming.
It thought to find a beach semi-empty (Brava type), but for surprise mine, in the beach there was much people installed with carps, was most negative than I found in the place, because they were many placed carps and to only meters of the sea.
Also small commerce can be found where they sell slight drinks and meals.

Laranjeiras
This beach is not of public access because it comprises of a closed district. When arriving at this personal point of monitoring of the district it takes the data from the car and it was very amiable indicating to me like following towards Sono.

Brave Praia
This is one of pretty beaches but of Trindade. It is arrived taking at the right in the bifurcation from the way of entrance to Trindade, after walking minutes it is necessary to leave the car next to the way and to walk by a footpath about 20 minutes.
He is a little difficult to find the entrance of the footpath, since there is no poster that indicates it. If it did not rain the way recently is not difficult, but with rain a little dangerous becomes because there are parts where he is very narrow, forms mud and alongside there is a full precipice of trees.
After walking during some minutes the footpath it is divided in two, towards the left one goes away to a cascade (cachoeira in Portuguese) and towards the right to praia Brave.
The cascade is beautiful, I visited it in 2001 and had many desire to return, is one of prettiest than I know. The day that I was, single I found adolescents in the place, accompanied by I pull ahead of marijuana that went with them to all parts.
In spite of that, that is to me totally disagreeable (because in any case it would make to the privacy and election of the person and not to a social activity), they did not bother me for anything.
Taking the way that goes to the beach, after walking minutes already it begins to listen to the sound of the sea and the Earth of the footpath is become pleasant sand.
When bequeathing to the beach we see a small river, that it arrives until the sea and it is originated by the water that arrives from the nose. Like when I was had rained hours ago, you had certain movement, but the volume is very low.
By the difficulty that presents/displays to arrive at the beach, the amount of people that is enough is limited.
An alternative way to arrive is by boat, that way are avoided the 20 minutes of long walk, although also it is lost what this one has of good.

Praia do Meio
It is arrived after crossing all the way that is possible to make in car, at the end of he himself there are a very pleasant parking and several bars on the beach.
The water is clean and in an end of the beach is the beginning of the footpath that leads to praia do Cachadaço.

Praia do Cachadaço
After walking during minutes the footpath that begins in praia do Meio, do Cachadaço is arrived at praia. The footpath is not very heavy, although it is not absolutely simple either.
For people with reduced mobility it is not recommendable since it demands certain physical training conditions.
The two beach is quite great and has campings.
At the end of the same one is the beginning of the footpath that takes to Figueira and the swimming pool of Cachadaço.

Praia gives Figueira (or dos Pelados)
The footpath that unites praia of Cachadaço with the swimming pool of Cachadaço was to me very difficult, already had crossed it in 2001 and it did not present/display difficulties to me, but this time it was with completely full mud sections reason why it was very slippery and dangerous.
Before arriving at the swimming pool the way it is divided being able to go to praia gives Figueira going towards the left.
The beach is very small and during part of the day it is left cover by shade. It is frequented by naturistas, although nobody controls that all are without clothes. We can say that clothes is optional.

Swimming pool do Cachadaço
The end of the footpath takes us to the swimming pool of Cachadaço, is really incredible that the nature forms east type of places. A true swimming pool are rocks around the coast forming.
When I arrived the climate was very ugly, threatening to begin to rain again, reason why the idea did not excite much to me to return by he himself mud way. But in the beach there are boats there that they avoid to him to one all that effort. By R$5 they took of return praia do to me Meio.

Traveler's nightmare: The amount and type of people, this last one obvious obeys to a totally subjective and personal criterion. To my it pleases to live the present and future time, not to be suspended much less in aesthetic and philosophical criteria of the sixty and when the “stand for casks” comes accompanied from marijuana and crafts.
In praia do Meio the bars receive quite expensive plates. I listened Brazilian, a frecuentador one of Trindade years ago, to complain because until recently they were not so expensive and the young man responded that it was truth, who receives more expensive by the great increase of people which they were in the last years old.

Things you should not miss: The beaches are very good, you do not let go to Sono and Brava. Cachoeira that is near Brave is a special place and the multiple footpaths combine exercise with contact with the nature.
