Nevertheless, the system of public transport of Curitiba is impressive. Returning to the subject of the urban hygiene, besides which people seemed to me educated more than in other cities of Brazil that I visited, he is impressive the army of street cleaners that has the city, are tens and tens of people cleaning permanently the public space, even in high times of the night.
In Curitiba there are many immigrants, are colonies of German, Poles, Italian, Japanese perhaps and Syria Lebaneses, that crucible of races created a unique and successful combination.
I lodged in the hotel Garden Curitiba, a new place, very simple, with relation a superb and located price-quality in the centric zone. It was really a good election.
I received an invitation to be days in the Pestana Hotel, is a hotel of another category and obvious they are not possible to be compared (the Pestana is 4 stars). The quality on watch and facilities are superb. If it is within your budget is an excellent option, but he is expensive.
Places to visit:
I am going to mention the points that the line crosses tourism, since they are several of most outstanding of the city. Some I crossed them and other no, but I mention them to all.
Praça Tiradentes

Railway Museu
This next to the Shopping Estação. I did not visit it but reason why I read is a museum on the railway history of the state of Parana.

Jardim Botânico
One of the imperdibles points of the city and typical postcard. The place is very pretty and satisfied my expectations totally.

Theater Guaíra and Federal Universidade of Parana
Also it is near the center, is possible to be walking.
Public Passeio and Memorial Arab
The public stroll is a very pleasant place, was first the zoological one of the city. Soon they transferred to most of the animals, but some were.
In addition to monkeys, herons, toucans and birds of all type, there is a small artificial lake and leafy vegetation.

Civic center
It is where it is the political power of the State of Parana.
Museu Oscar Niemeyer

It is a so impressive place that I was touched when visiting it, specially because already I know Brasilia and the architect Oscar Niemeyer is the father of Brasilia.
Its construction represents another one of the icons of the city, in the call “eye”.
The game of volumes, proportions, textures and colors generates a indescriptible work with words, must visit it.
The samples of the museum were very interesting, specially the one of the life of Reinhard Maack interested much to me.
In the interior I already continued enjoying the rationalist and minimalista architecture of the Niemeyer, I was crossing the different rooms, until I arrived at the interior of the eye itself. The exit is by the eye exactly.
It is impossible to describe the sensation which I felt when entering the eye, the ceiling is covered of a very original way and it hit so much to me that I was with the open mouth (literally).
The covering is small plates placed in different positions, which combined with the illumination generates an effect very particular, but the one that called the attention more to me is that my eye could not make “center” in cielorraso. They can see it in the photo, seems to be outside center, but in fact in person it was seen the same.
Forest do Pope and Polonês Memorial
I did not go to this place, is 7 done houses with trunks… It did not excite the sufficient thing to me to visit them.
Alemâo forest
Another place to visit. It is a forest that is crossed by a footpath in slope that finalizes in a species of facade or monument with flowers.
Universidade Livre do Ambient Meio
It is a university that studies environment, located in an imposing place, Where there is a lake, a very great cliff and great vegetation.
The university in himself, is a construction of material surrounded by very a well obtained wood balcony done.
When arriving at the high part but the panorama can be appreciated. This good one, but does not offer more than that.
Park São Lorenço
I did not visit it. Reason why I read is a place where courses are offered, exhibitions, etc. Also have a lake with a footpath to walk.
Opera of Arame

Tanguá park

A place in tribute to the natives who occupied the territory of Curitiba. I did not visit it, but from the group it is possible to be seen that it is a maintained affluent place.
Italian vestibule

Santa Felicidade
It is where the Italian colony was based and where is the greater gastronomical supply of Curitiba.
Barigüi park

I did not like of the place the organization, they did not seem to be very prepared for the people flow that they had and the conditions of poor security seemed to me something (single two small elevators in case of evacuation). Historical Setor
This place this near the Tiradentes seat, first point of the route of the line tourism.
There are old constructions, preserved very well, in street Dr Claudino Two Saints are several bars and the continuation of the street, the Av. Jaime Reis is full of restaurants of different ethnic specialties.
It is a pretty place to go to take something to the tardecita.
Traveler's nightmare: Perhaps in main lines the city I liked much, people is a little fries in comparison to the Brazilian average.
A thing that I did not like and called the attention to me considering the glided thing that is the things in Curitiba, is that in center the streets change of name in both felt. It can seem a smaller subject, but it is very confused
In general there are not many options of restaurants in center of Curitiba and much less bars, I only found activity in the historical, but very poor sector for a city of this spread.
Things you should not miss: Definitvamente loses the Museum to you Oscar Niemeyer, neither the botanical garden, nor the parks Tanguá and Barigüi.
